That’s why we’re making it official: 10% of DAME’s profits will now go directly to impact projects that make the world fairer, cleaner, and kinder.
This isn’t a marketing initiative. It’s a long-term commitment to using business as a force for good - funding measurable, lasting change for people and the planet.
Why we’re doing this
When we asked our community what mattered most, your answers were clear: you care less about our legal structure and more about our impact.
You want to know that every DAME purchase helps make things better - not worse.
We agree. So rather than talk about frameworks, we’re focusing on outcomes.
Where the money goes
Each year, 10% of DAME’s profits will go into projects that align with our mission:
to use period care as a catalyst for health, sustainability, and systemic change.
We’re focusing our impact across six key areas:

⚖️ Equality - making the world fairer for people with periods

🌍 Climate action – funding projects that reduce carbon and protect natural ecosystems

🩸 Period poverty – improving access to sustainable period care for people who need it most via our partner Bloody Good Period

👧 Next-generation education – empowering young people through honest, stigma-free period education, Innovation Camps, and our Youth Board

🧪 Materials innovation – backing research into safer, circular, and lower-impact materials, such as our self-sanitising cup or brown cotton pads

🌾 Cotton communities – improving livelihoods for the farmers who grow our organic cotton by providing them with the education and products to thrive
Doing good, transparently
We’ve already started this journey:

Donating 3,000 reusable pads to women in Pakistan with our partner Pilio

Installing sustainable period product dispensers in UK workplaces and schools

Supporting climate insetting projects within our supply chain
Now, with this 10% commitment, we’re going further.
Each year, we’ll publish updates on where the funds go, what they achieve, and who we work with - because transparency matters as much as intention.
