How Do DAME Reusable Period Pants Work?
DAME period pants are made with the best combination of wicking and absorbing fabrics we could get our hands on, making our unique DAMEdry™ construction.
Our absorbent odour-proof layer made from 4D fabric technology holds 10 times its weight in two second and can be worn for up to 8 hours typically. It’s coated in SILVADUR™ which prevents the growth of bacteria on contact so you can be confident your pad is as hygienic as possible.
How Often Should I Change My DAME Reusable Period Pants?
We recommend changing yourperiod pantsevery 6-8 hours. That said, it’s a good idea to check them more frequently the first few times you wear them to understand how they work for you and your flow.
Can I Use DAME Period Pants On Their Own?
This really depends on you and your flow. Period pants are a great replacement for traditional period products, however you can also use them as a backup with your tampon, cup or even pad.
We recommend trying your pants on their own on a lighter day of your period to understand how they work with your flow.
Are The DAME Reusable Period Pants Hygienic?
Our period pants are treated with patented SILVADUR™ technology. This is an innovative antimicrobial treatment which delivers a low concentration of silver ions to fabric surfaces that controls odour generating bacteria.
