Helping Refugees

Bloody Good Period

Bloody Good aims to create a sustainable flow (pun intended) of sanitary protection for the women visiting the New North London Synagogue (NNLS), the New London Synagogue (NLS) Asylum Seeker Drop Ins and other food banks and centres in the UK.

Pads and tampons are not cheap, especially if you're not entitled to earn a living, but for most, they are an absolute necessity. It is intolerable that they are not free for those who need them. Many women living in poverty have to resort to using toilet paper, old scraps of fabric or nothing at all.

What started as a "whip-round" on Facebook is growing into an exciting initiative which now also collects toiletries as well as period supplies. Oh and period puns.

There are a number of ways you can donate. You can visit the Amazon wishlist , and the products are delivered directly to us. Or, you can shop via another website and input the delivery address or you can pick some products up on your weekly shop and post them to us.

If you're short on cash but rich in ideas and/or time, then offer your skills instead, or start a collection!

There are so many ways to help, but if you can think of another, then just bloody get in touch!
